In November 2023, after 3 seconds and 13 years, the much-anticipated moment finally arrived: Nicola and the KTM Mediolanum Race Team triumphed at the 56th edition of the Baja 1000. The world's longest non-stop point-to-point rally competition broke the traditions of Off-Road, starting from La Paz to Ensenada.
From November 13 to 19, Nicola covered over 1300 miles (2100 km) of pure adrenaline. Alongside him, his essential Ghost Riders, Julian Villarrubia and Ruben Saldana embarked on a unique adventure filled with emotions and challenges in the desolate yet fascinating Mexican terrain. The Baja 1000 provided the perfect stage to showcase the strength, determination, and skill to navigate the desert and claim victory in one of the most challenging off-road races in the world.
Dutto not only conquered the Baja 1000 but also achieved a personal victory against adversity. This epic feat, experienced amidst the desert dust and under the embrace of the stars, is a testament to the power of love, passion, and perseverance in the world of off-road racing.
Furthermore, the Africa Eco Race has recently concluded, where Nicola and his team reached Dakar at Lac Rose, securing the 29th overall position, the best result of the day at 22nd place, finishing 3rd in their category, and winning the final stage. Another triumph confirming the extraordinary performance and determination of Nicola Dutto and his team in off-road racing.
